Honeymoon at Home

Spring Trays!

So it is not Spring yet. But I couldn’t wait to show off the new trays that just came in. They definitely have a spring-like vibe with bright colors, spots and well… pink. Now you know what I was doing with those fabrics I was showing off last month.

That Chiang Mai Tray there in the middle makes me quite happy. All of course are available here.

Few Others Would Have Us

So Happy Valentine’s Day lovah.

Yes, this is us at a nerd party circa 2005.

Sometimes the party never ends.

P.S. We’re over at Durham Magazine this afternoon chatting about some last minute and low-key ways to celebrate the day. Check it out here.

P.S.S. As a special valentine to all of you, our “Mine and Yours” barware glasses are half off in the shop today! That’s right – only $9 for the set!

Window Shopping: Palm Avenue

Confession. I have never entered a Lilly Pulitzer store before in my life. For some reason since visiting Palm Avenue in Raleigh’s Cameron Village for the first time, I now feel like this was a mistake.

Look at how awesome this dining table sofa is. Would you use this?

What about these gold wall-creatures?

Or this chair?

Such a great shop full of great colors. I’ll admit my only hesitation in not turning window shopping into real shopping was the fact that Furb has so many similar items right around the corner – and it’s a local business.

On a side note Lilly also carries some of the gorg enamel jewelry from our very own shop too! Small world. That Lilly, she has great taste.

Mr. Magoo

Has ordered himself something sweet from Honeymoon at Home.

See a resemblence?

Maybe you should do the same? I would suggest starting with these, or these, or this.

We’re ecstatic that this little guy, who happens to have the cutest name ever, got his mom to take his picture and send it our way. We love hearing from all of you! Seriously. Highlight of our day, so keep ‘em coming.

Dynamite Malachite

If you’re our Facebook friend you might have seen yesterday that our shop’s Malachite Frame made it into the pages of canadian design magazine Dabble Mag. Good news, ey?

The magazine describes the frame as luxe on a budget and we couldn’t agree more.

Hurry and grab one before they are gone – which could be very soon! But if you miss the frame boat, don’t fret because we still have plenty of Malachite Trays and Dishes available to continue the trend.

P.S. The frames might not last but the pineapple and anchors are b-a-c-k! So exciting to have to reorder something because you guys loved them so much, so… thanks!

Goodbye

We just sold our very last pink lacquer storage box. Let us take a moment of silence.

Thank you.

To add to the sadness, I am not sure that I am going to be able to get my hands on any more.

Thus I had to pretend this last one was ours just a little while longer… and then it got shipped across the country.

It’s a good thing that I still have black ones to console me.

But if you want to take these away from me, you can do so right here. Don’t worry, I’ll be okay if you do.

I will just move on to the white ones. Yes. White ones. I love their Asian flair and clean lines.

Oh, yeah. I have a plan b and a plan c so shop away friends.
