Etsy Round-Ups

Love Sexton Giveaway!

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED!

Happy Tuesday young persons.

We’ve decided to kick off the morning with a little freebie for one lucky reader. Remember those neon faux feather, faux leather earrings that I nabbed off Etsy last week?

Tokara, the artist behind Love Sexton, has graciously offered up a pair for you guys too! Well, one of you guys.

PRIZE: One pair of Neon Aztec Faux Leather Feather earrings courtesy of Love Sexton. Winner’s color choice.

DEADLINE TO ENTER:  Between now and 11:59 PM, Eastern time on Friday, March 16, 2012. We’ll announce the winner the following Monday.

HOW TO ENTER:  Just leave a comment on this post  and tell us which color you would choose.

YADA, YADA, YADA: One entry per person please, you do not have to be present to win (think about that one for a second) and the winner will, as usual, be chosen via Random.org. So suck up all you want to both us and especially to Tokara by saying nice things and order lots of jewelry.   But it won’t help you win more than our eternal gratitude.

Faux Bamboo

This dresser lives in North Carolina. If you do too I recommend you buy it. So I can’t.

Available on Etsy, right here.

Natural Neon

You might recall that I’ve flirted with the idea of adding some neon to my life in this post from days of yore. Just so you know, I spotted satchels that look exactly like those I posted about at Target recently, only smaller and much less expensive.

In some recent online perusing I found what i have determined to be the perfect slightly neon additions to my wardrobe. And because they look like feathers they are less in your neon face and much more natural.

Okay, kind of natural.

You can file these under “things I won’t be able to wear to work but will love anyways because they will make me feel younger and slightly cooler than I really am.” Yes.

Get yours here, and we can have that slightly cooler feeling together.

Element Clay Studio

These Asheville created ceramic pieces are fun and unique. The urchin bowls would look pretty amazing on any side table. We’re pretty sure of it. Oh, it’s the spikey one on the top right.

Crafted by Heather Knight and available via Etsy.

As usual, no payment or perk for writing this, just spotted them today and found them to be bueno.
