Cool Crafting Contest

We are big fans of crafting – and of public transportation. Confused? Well don’t be, just let us explain.

Triangle Transit (yes the buses) are teaming up with GoTriangle.org and hosting a contest to get their hands on your craftiest projects on the go. They asked us to help promote it and we were pretty honored and happy to write up a little something for you guys about all the details!

I have to use my car for work quite a bit and Chad has strange and unpredictable hours – often responding to emergency situations so unfortunately it isn’t very practical for us to take the bus to work everyday but whenever we travel to new cities and areas that’s almost all we do – ride the buses and take the subways. We love it.

What would we do if we had thirty minutes free every morning to let someone else do the driving? Probably read – or do something crafty. If you’re a lucky one that’s able to take advantage of our public transit system we encourage you to enter this contest, heck your whole family can enter and then you’ll all be headed to the State Fair for f-r-e-e! Or take this as an excuse to try out public transit, you can enter after your first trip on the bus.

Free admission = more money for healthy eats once you’re there.

All you have to do is snap a photo of yourself doing something crafty on a bus and if you’re one of the first fifty to submit a photo you’ll receive free admission to the State Fair and a free ride on the fair shuttle. You can also snap a photo of yourself getting crafty in your carpool in case you’re like us and not always able to take the bus to work.

To enter submit your photo via Facebook, Twitter or e-mail it to info@gotriangle.org

Read all the details right here. Happy Crafting!
