One for the Guys
Admittedly, most if not all of our posts are geared toward the young enthusiastic homeowner, male or female. So for a little Friday fun we thought we’d share a how-to guide that is completely unrelated to all things home, and rather inspire you enjoy the great outdoors this weekend, and throw a little fun to the fam.
Here’s Amy’s cousin Jason giving a little tutorial on fly tying. He’s a master fly fisherman down in Florida at Old Florida Outfitters. If you want to learn the sport he’s the guy to teach you – we’ve gotta plan a trip soon!
Even if you have zero interest in fly fishing it’s pretty interesting to see how much work goes into tying flies. Plus you can watch and impress your fisherman friends with your use of the word “hackle”.
What are your weekend plans? We’re thinking ours will involve paint and maybe a bathroom sink. Glamorous? Nope. Our idea of fun? Oh yea!
