Local Love: Mary Jo's Cloth Store
If you’re ever lucky enough to be driving along I-85 in North Carolina, just South of Charlotte in Gastonia – make time to stop at Mary Jo’s Cloth Store.
We’re not sure how long this little gem has been in Gastonia but if you’re looking for fabrics of all types, colors and textures this is your place. It’s huge and admittedly a bit overwhelming but if you are going in on a mission you’re bound to find exactly what you’re looking for at a great price.
Although our kitchen and half bathroom are ahead in line, we couldn’t resist picking up this great graphic green fabric for a little project in our guest bedroom – more to come.

LOVE Mary Jo’s. I grew up about 30 minutes from there and took quite a few trips there in my younger days with my Mom for material for formals and such. Since I started sewing a couple of months ago, I’ve wished we had a place like that here!
